Just give it a little time
"Out of the gate it was a bit different to get used too (bit more flexible than most options on the market). But absolutely no give in the lockup. About a month of regular lifting with it and it's growing on me. No complaints, solid well built deadlift belt. Doesn't impede movement at all and allows for plenty of internal pressure to be built. Would absolutely recommend. If your coming from a 10mm belt like myself. Play around with the tension and give it some time to get used to. Once you figure it out it's a perfect belt for deadlifting"

Excellent belt
"Love it so far, I wear it with the d rings the opposite way so they don’t slide when I tighten the belt. I think their other belt for 10 bucks less doesn’t have 2 rings so it relies on the Velcro straps to hold it in place which may wear faster than if you have the 2 rings and the Velcro straps like on this one. I also looked at their ratchet straps $100 version and it looked like too much for me personally to wear at the gym, but I think this mechanism can break so it’s not perfect either. This is a great inbetween for me which fits in my small gym bag, I had the core belt which felt much bulkier than this one, so I see the appeal of this belt. The 3 ply also feels gentler on the body than the core belt did to me at least. So I think spud accomplish their goal of creating a comfortable belt that keeps you safe when maxing on squats or deadlifts. I got the XL based off their measurements and it appears to be a good fit."

Amazing belt
"A great fit, I like that it’s tough like a leather belt but bends so it’s not so harsh on your sides. No issues with the locking system loosening while lifting. Also works great with a soft belt."

I love this belt
"I've had this belt for 5 years. Originally I bought it to replace my leather belt for log press. But it's so comfortable that it is my primary lifting belt for everything except axle press."
