"Not only do i really enjoy the belt with the ability to ratchet down tight for REAL stability in a heavy lift. I also had to send it back to get a different size and have never had that fast a turn around with no queations asked, just good easy service. I cant suggest this product or comany enough."
"There's no other belt like the Spud Pro belt with its unique ratchet and buckle system and stiff but bendy Spud belt material. When you crank this down, you get pressure where you need it but the top and bottom have enough give so you can get into position for deadlifts, for example, without fighting the belt. I also like that you don't need a bolted-down rack or post or something to lean against to pull it tight like a classic leather belt. You can cinch it down wherever you stand. There are some quirks though. This is my second belt because the first one I bought used from someone who it didn't fit. It also didn't fit me. If you go by the measurements above, there is no reason the XL shouldn't fit but it was way, way too big. If the wide outer belt touches, it's maxed out and can't get tighter. So I got a Large and while it works, it leaves a big gap in the middle where my belly gets squished going tight. It's not uncomfortable really, but it makes it feel more like a pulled rope across my waist rather than a belt. However, that's also what gives it the more flexible, dynamic feel than leather. One weird thing is the buckle has a knurled pin in it that clanks and rattles around in use. I think this is for the actual seat belt use; it's where you'd wrap the seat belt when you pull it through. But obviously this doesn't work that way so there's no reason for this pin other than to make noise. It does kind of look cool though. I may wrap a little tape around the top and bottom to hush it up. I do wish the ratchet strap was wider to make it feel a little more solid around the waist. Maybe a seat-belt width (40mm) racing style low profile ratchet? I do think this is a very solid belt and would suggest it if you find your leather belt is making it hard to get into deadlift position or if you need to move more athletically with support."
"This is by far the best most convenient weight belt I've ever used. The Super Pro 3 Ply is a bit pricey, but worth every penny. It is easy to get in, and out of, and most importantly convenient to loosen and tighten between sets. After it breaks in, it has just the perfect amount of flex for my lifting. My only complaint is that the belt does not have all that much room for adjustment, so you have to get one that is exactly the right size. . . if you are between sizes or are planning on cutting or bulking more than a few inches this belt might not fit you for long. Though the way it is built it will last for years and years of heavy use."
"If you do any type of lifting and you don't have this type of weight belt, you are leaving PRs on the table and increasing your risk for injury. This belt fits perfectly snug to your body far better than any other type of weight belt."
