Safety Rack Strap Set
The Safety Rack Strap Set was made to provide a higher caliber system of protection and performance for the athlete. Most safety rack strap sets are designed just to catch the weight in case of a drop. The Spud Inc Safety Rack Strap System, like all Spud Inc, is made to keep you ultra safe but also perform multiple exercises off of such as pin presses, suspended good mornings , pause squats, suspended military press…. and so on. The strap is reinforced all the way around creating a more stiff absorption point wherever the bar lands.. In other words, the goal was to get as close to a dead stop as possible but leave you a position to reengage the rep in a more suitable leverage position. Less jump or that sliding movement of the bar once you lay it on the strap. If it jumps or slides less, you can get it back in position for the next rep much quicker. Strap length ordering information: Measure the inside to inside of your rack posts to get your custom strap length. Suprising upgrade to OEM straps more flex and grip
"Very thick and strong and flexible safety straps. The straps that came with my REP rack were this awful dark aqua green instead of black or gray. I got the Spud version to clean up the look of my gym, and they are actually more functional than the pack in version. These have way more flex and are actually easier to use, and FAR EASIER to fold around to store on just one upright than my OEM straps. The extra more cottoney layer on top also makes them catch the barbell in a softer more secure way as they have just a little more grip to them than naked nylon straps. I admit these felt like a vanity purchase, but they wound up being a real up grade!"
