"This thing is a beast! Such a huge upgrade to my previous Amazon roller that I snapped in half. With the strap on this I think I found my favorite new movement for extensors, braced on the preacher bench and attached to a cable stack the tension through the whole range of motion is intense and I’m not even unrolling it just moving it like a forearm extensor curl. Great using it as intended too, real forearm killer, great knurling."
"The Grip Genie Forearm Grower 2. 0 is a great but not exceptional wrist roller. It's big, heavy and does exactly what it says it will do. It burns out your wrists in almost no time. The strap is a bit long for free weights as they pull from straight below the handle, it's saving grace is all of the carabiner loops, letting you choose exactly how much strap to use. They really should have mentioned this feature in the sales description. However, when used with cables you can angle the strap and take advantage of the full length. This is SHOCKINGLY difficult to get past a few reps taking the cable all the way in and out. My biggest complaint with the Forearm Grower 2. 0 is that it is rough around the edges. The knurling is lightly stamped on and never feels super secure in my hands. My other complaint is the weight, holding this out horizontally to take advantage of the long strap is absolutely brutal on my shoulders and not in a good way. Used that way, its a race to failure between the your forearms and your delts ability to isometrically contract. I think this the Grip Genie Forearm Grower is a good value for the money, but it has a few rough edges that keep me from really enjoying my time using it. That said 4 stars still feels more fair than 3 taking everything into consideration."
"I always love finding new and most importantly good quality equipment. I've been using SPUD gear for years, straps, belts, wrist wraps and now I just bought the Grip Genie 2. 0 and couldn't be more satisfied with it. Top quality equipment that should last forever. I've always done wrist curls, but this roller really adds a new level of work and you really feel your firearms just get pumped, burn, fatigue and beautiful sore the next day. Thanks Spud."
