"When starting out brand new in the Highland Games a few years ago, I wasn’t ready to invest all-in to the implements. When I found the econo hammer I knew I’d at least be able to get winds in to simulate the Scottish hammers. The feel is obviously different from a pvc/rattan handle when throwing, but the amount of work I was able to get in my first 2 games using the Econ hammer definitely helped build confidence on Games day. I threw it with metal plates and urethane covered plates, indoors on turf and outdoors on grass, and it withstood the beating over years with hardly any wear to show for it! This is a great way to get some work in without breaking the bank investing in the actual implements!"
